Doctors Mobile Healthcare International is announcing a strategic business partnership with Rapid Improvement, Inc., to use their natural language processing (NLP) technology to expand their Virtual Physician’s Network mobile platform.

October 22th, 2014Coral Springs, Florida – Doctors Mobile Healthcare Intl (OTCBB: DMHI), announced today that they have agreed to a partnership with Rapid Improvement, Inc., a Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology company in Washington, D.C. This new added feature to the Virtual Physicians Network mobile platform will enhance the value of VPN to their users as well as add an additional revenue stream for DMHI in the form of analytics reporting.

DMHI already announced this month that they are attending the North America Spine Society 2014 annual meeting in San Francisco, CA on November 12-15th where they plan on demonstrating the integration of the these two technologies.

Rapid Improvement, Inc. was founded by Farrokh Alemi, PhD. in 2003, to help healthcare organizations improve their patient experiences. They focus on applying patented artificial intelligence tools (sentiment analysis) to understand and act on patient comments to improve their organizations. Since 2003, Rapid Improvement has expanded this unique and patented technology throughout the U.S. in physician offices, clinics and hospitals.

“Generating real time feedback from customers is the single most important indicator of an organizations future success and therefore extremely valuable,” explained George England, CEO of DMHI. “By integrating Rapid Improvement’s technology into the VPN platform, we will now be able to collect, analyze, and distribute powerful analytics among our surgeons, vendors, and hospitals,” he continued. “I am very excited that will be able to show this latest feature addition to the VPN platform at the NASS annual meeting next month in San Francisco,” Mr. England concluded.

Farrokh Alemi, PhD., is Rapid Improvement’s Chief Scientist and founder. Dr. Alemi has published over 70 articles and three books. The National Institutes of Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation are some of the institutions that have funded his research. Dr. Alemi has provided testimony to the U.S. Congress regarding the role of the Internet in healthcare. He has taught health care management to students at Tulane University, Cleveland State University, George Washington University, George Mason University, Georgetown University and University of South Florida. Dr. Alemi received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

“Allowing people to speak in their own words is powerful. Capturing those thoughts and acting on that information can be transformational to any organization. Surgeons don’t have much time but, like everyone else, they like to be listened to”, commented Dr. Alemi. “DMHI’s VPN platform, utilizing our natural language processing (NLP) engine, facilitates instantaneous feedback between surgeons, hospitals and implant manufacturers facilitating continuous process improvement ultimately resulting in better outcomes and improved satisfaction”, Dr. Alemi concluded.
